"NB At the moment, there are road works in front of the hotel, so access is by foot only. Complimentary parking at the rear of the hotel was available. The lady in Reception who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. Our room had recently been renovated, as had the sauna, the bed was very comfortable, though the room’s furniture, mottled grey leather sofas, were unexpected and quite un-Scandic. "An excellent and beautiful luxury cabin. The rooms are stylishly decorated, and you can step directly from your private terrace into the embrace of the clean waters of Lake Kallavesi. In winter, ice swimming is not available in the standard cabins. The staff is amazing—always ready to help in any situation. Thank you!"

"Old beat up facility. Beds are terrible, heard water running trough the radiators all night long. Bathroom smelled of urine/feces although it was clean. No ventilation in bathroom. Chose because it was close to daughter, would not stay here again."
