"The beautiful flowers and plants in the facility were wonderful! Going for a swim in the pool near the reception was amazing, especially against the mountainous backdrop. The rotation is also gorgeous and worth checking out! Starting here was like staying at a beautiful nature museum. The two reception staff who served us were extremely helpful and friendly. They allowed us to check out one hour later than usual and invited us to continue using their facilities and amenities after checkout! "

"You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. Had a wonderful week using Porto Moniz as a base to explore the island. Would highly recommend this property if you want amazing views and the sound of the ocean."
