"The beautiful flowers and plants in the facility were wonderful! Going for a swim in the pool near the reception was amazing, especially against the mountainous backdrop. The rotation is also gorgeous and worth checking out! Starting here was like staying at a beautiful nature museum. The two reception staff who served us were extremely helpful and friendly. They allowed us to check out one hour later than usual and invited us to continue using their facilities and amenities after checkout! "

"You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. "A unique gem of a hotel. The views & sounds of being so close to the sea is incredible. Rooms are clean & modern, dining options, particularly the rooftop restaurant are superb. You definitely will need a hire car if you want to explore the local area, as porto moniz is quite small with just a handful of places to go."
