"The property was great and communication was good. The main problem is having to give a deposit prior to arriving. Given the options, it’s basically impossible for a US citizen that doesn’t have a UK bank account or credit card. The only way we could do it was to get someone we knew in the UK to pay it. "The house is even more lovely than the pictures. Spacious, well decorated and kitted out and very clean. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and beds and bedding very comfortable with lots of natural light and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The country kitchen is lovely and spacious and very well kitted out. Kate had very kindly left us delicious home baked scones, butter, milk and even some jam. "We absolutely loved our stay. Location was amazing, the views breath taking and the house simply gorgeous. Our hosts Siobhan and John were such a lovely couple and we loved getting the chance to meet them. They made our stay so relaxed and comfortable we found it so hard to leave. "It was brilliantly set up. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was a god send for one of our party who struggles with stairs. We found it clean and tidy, but i would suggest sorting out the kitchen drawers and the sliding flooring in the kitchen. Other than that it was great. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this cute house that has everything we could need, a lovely back yard, and a good location. Hazel went above and beyond - we had accidentally thrown away a souvenir ring and she sent it back to us in the US and she did it with no hesitation! "
