"The staff is amazing at this hotel and excellent service. The building is very nicely updated and they are making every effort to maintain it. Just location downtown meant that we did have several drunk people trying to get into our room by mistake but that isnt the hotels issue. They have one entrance to hotel from front lobby at night to try to keep issues to a minimum (I think?). Thisnis the second time we have stayed at this hotel. There is a slight smell of urine in bathroom and front lobby...

"We have stayed at this property many times in the last year or so as we go to North Bay to check on family. As usual our stay was great but we did have an issue with the bathroom door - it scrapes along the floor every time the door is opened or shut and is quite a nuisance at night when trying to be quiet."

"What an awesome hotel. While a little more expensive than the competition the value can’t be beat. Clean rooms, clean and plush linens and towels. Still doing daily housekeeping too! The breakfast options are amazing, fresh and nicely presented. They cook eggs and omelets to your liking in front of you. The gym is clean and well equipped. Never used the pool and didn’t notice a hot tub. You will like this hotel. "

"Well, those that know me would say that I had died and gone to heaven at the Outdoorsman Motel. What a lovely, comfortable place. The knotty pine and cabin motif add to your vacation vibe, but it is the management that made it heaven. I went down to ask for two drinking glasses as we were going to have a relaxing cocktail at the end of a day full of hiking, sightseeing, and absorbing the nearby beauty of the area.
