"Had an excellent stay here, staff very friendly and accomodating, rooms spotless, food excellent for both evening meal and breakfast and very reasonably priced. Only slight negative was the room maybe needs some slight updating, the carpet was coming away from the wall and was fraying and the kettle had to be used on the floor as the flex didnt reach the plug socket. "The landlord / manager Chris was fantastic . Very friendly and helpful and what an asset to the establishment he is . Will return when we are in the area . The rooms comfy bed and great selection of teas and coffee in the room. Also liked that fact milk in a bottle not pods . Pub - lovely meal and wine ! And great breakfast included . Tks again "
