"Comfortable and well equipped home from home. Welcoming and communicative hosts and an excellent guide to the local area. The parking disc was a handy and thoughtful idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cooked a few nights in, kitchen is fine and functional. The bath is large and lovely and the bed comfortable . "Lovely cottage. Very peaceful. The log burner was nice to use as it took a while for the cottage to warm up with the heaters and the day we arrived it was pretty cold. The cottage had everything you need for a stay. We all agreed that the beds and pillows were very comfortable and we all slept well. Nice location to visit Leyburn, Hawes and Aysgarth. "We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable...
