Trident Cottage is just steps away from the famous Poponi Beach, which is ranked one of the best beaches in the Bahamas. It is a one minue walk down the beach to Unique Village’s restaurant and bar and a longer walk to La Bouginavillea's restaurant and bar.

Trident Cottage is fully air conditioned to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, including an oversized refrigerator and freezer.
Amenities include Smart TV with Netflix (but no satellite or cable), reliable Wi-Fi, an automatic on-demand generator, solar with back up solar battery, a safe, a large freshwater cistern, and a tandem sea kayak.
One bedroom at Trident Cottage has a king bed and one has a queen bed. There are 2 bathrooms, one is en-suite with a bedroom and the other bathroom can be entered from the hallway. There is a shared walk-in shower in the middle which connects both bathrooms. There is also an outdoor shower.

The town of Palmetto Point is just half a mile away, a one-minute drive or a ten-minute walk. Palmetto Point is home to the popular Mate and Jenny’s restaurant, as well as several stores. La Bougainvillea's beachfront restaurant/bar is a 2 minute drive. Tippy’s beachfront restaurant is a 5-minute drive. A ten-minute drive takes you into Governors Harbor, the main town on the island. Governors Harbor has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster most afternoons from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governors Harbor has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbor, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
