"We had a great week at Blue Palms. The house was perfect for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook family meals on the nights we decided to stay in. The pool/ beach front combo was a hit with our crew and the water was crystal clear. The location was private but also convenient to other beaches and sights on the island. Checking in was a breeze! We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great time at the Ocean Breeze. The owner has provided everything needed for days at the beach. There are beach chairs, towels, and snorkeling equipment. The beach is so quick and easy to get to. A very short walk and you usually have it completely to yourself. The snorkeling is very good even in shallow water. Should you want to explore, other gorgeous beaches are a short drive away. Georgetown is about a 15 minute drive away. The house itself is large and very comfortable. It overlooks a pond that has a number of birds. You will often see crabs scuttling around on the property. While we were there, the power went off several times and the generator kicked on (automatically). That is a major plus anytime you are staying on Eleuthera. Also, when we had a couple of issues, the owner was very quick to see them resolved. We go to Eleuthera for its beauty and (where we stayed) the lack of noise and traffic. Ocean Breeze checks all the boxes!"

"You cannot beat this property for the price! Beautiful views of that turquoise water, lots of ships passing by in the distance. And the glow-in-the-dark countertops are icing on the cake!"

"We absolutely loved Kirk and Marian's little piece of paradise. They were great hosts and very responsive. The home had plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, kayaks, and cooking equipment. My husband and I loved kayaking every morning. We had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed watching sea turtles and stingrays. My 4 & 6 year old also enjoyed the pink sand and "exploring" the nearby rocks. The home also had a whole home generator that powered everything. It did come on at least once a day, but power wasn't interrupted. I loved, loved, loved this home and hope to visit it again."

"Beautiful pink beach steps away from the cottage. Great snorkeling with colorful, tropical fish and beautiful rocks. We saw a stingray, turtles, and possibly a couple of sharks. There were two cute mama birds nesting on the beach. We got to see the eggs and then the last day the babies after they had hatched. We enjoyed using the kayak and snorkeling gear. The cooler was very convenient and much appreciated. The communication with the property manager was very easy and positive. We really enjoyed going to the Methodist Church down the road. We also love seeing the Glass Window Bridge. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful- Which you can watch from the front porch. We rarely saw people while on the property, but when we did encounter people on the beach or in the stores, everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed the island farm but hate we missed the cinnamon rolls on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some things to consider: Be prepared for mosquitoes/bugs/flys. Don’t waste your time on Harbor Island. It was a huge disappointment."

"We last visited Eleuthera 40 years ago for our honeymoon. Yes, there have been some changes, however it remains a destination for unspoiled beaches. The Simple Life Cottage was the perfect place to experience this. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing a million stars at night. Magical watching fireflies in the nature landscape. Also enjoyed the surprising visits from a friendly Potcake. White like a ghost, as quick as she appeared she would disappear. Explored the history and culture of the neighboring town, be sure and visit Governor’s Harbour for the Friday night fish fry. Thank you for sharing your little slice of Heaven on Earth."
