"We had a very good stay here, check in was super easy. The room was pretty decent, really good for being a small inn. We’ve had bad experiences in the past with other places. Our toilet kept clogging our whole stay. We only stayed two nights and it clogged 4 times. I’m not really sure what was happening there. Also, the hot and cold water are backwards on the bathtub. No biggie, just weird. Everyone we talked to was extremely nice. We did have a warning that they were doing renovations, they had...

"The general palmer hotel is an amazing choice for staying in downtown Durango. The service, the ambience, the beds, everything was delightful. The lobby is so nice to sit in and have a daily fresh baked cookie and peruse the huge selection of teas and coffee. It all has such a charm AND is at a really affordable price point compared to others in the area. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Durango! "

It had both quiet places and was easily accessible from the main street. The property management should work on fixing a couple of small damages within the room and also need to ensure everything is clean and clear before check ins. "
