"This place was great for what we needed! My daughter and I stayed here as an in-between Buffalo and Toronto stop for the Taylor Swift concert. Hotels in Toronto were way too expensive at that time, so we opted to stay here and take the GO train into Toronto. We stayed two nights. "The renovated rooms are really quite nice. Very clean, very bright very fresh. We however chose a smoking room and didn’t find out it was Unrenovated until check in It is not nice. But it’s mostly clean. He tried to move usimmediately to a renovated non smoking room, so I don’t think he prepped this room"

"This was a fantastic place for an overnight stay. Centrally-located for the wedding we were attending in town. Incredibly clean and all staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. Really good vibes. Don't let the older facade put you off. Very newly renovated inside. Found the AC a little tough to get right but not a big deal. I'm an early riser (6 am) so would have appreciated earlier access (or in room access) to getting my tea but, again, not a huge deal."

"Bait and switch! I thought this was part of the Budget Inn chain so I was expecting no frills but clean. This place had no maid service. No soap. No shampoo. Blood spatter on the bathroom ceiling. Lipstick (I hope!) on the washcloth. No bed springs - just a foam mattress on a piece of plywood and hard as a rock. Noisy AC which didn't work well. Toilet barely flushed. "We had a lovely stay here! The place is clean and nicely furnished, with a beautiful forest view to wake up to. Reno was a helpful and responsive host. We enjoyed the nearby trails and liked that it was just a short drive to Paris where we had lunch. I would just clarify that there is no oven or stovetop, but there is a toaster oven and single burner electric hot plate. And as the other reviews mention, there is no kitchen sink so you have to wash dishes in the bathroom, which isn't a big deal....
