"Cozy, private, well-maintained cabin 5 minutes from Gore Mountain. Beautiful views of the river right across the street. Very comfortable for 3 people with one Queen in the bedroom and one twin bed in an alcove. Cute little gas fireplace in living room. Full kitchen was nice with drip coffee maker, stove, toaster, microwave. No TV or dishwasher which didn’t matter to us on our short visit. Entrance to house was very icy and slippery. The host warned us of this and tried to remedy it the day after check-in. Overall a very nice stay and would like to return in warmer weather to enjoy the river and other local amenities. "

"Two night winter get-away. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's right on the lake and main Lake George strip. The main hotel is clean and the staff were excellent including the restaurant/bar staff. A few minor quibbles include adding some technology updates in the rooms including USB and/or outlets near the beds. The suites could also benefit from a second TV in the sitting area. The mountain view side actually overlooks the parking lot. Overall, would definitely stay at this location and be sure to do the tour of the adjacent Fort William Henry--it has a lot of history."
