"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

"Upon arrival, my booking could not be found for approximately 20 minutes which was inconvenient. The room was spacious (shared female dorm room for 6 people) but the beds had to be made ourselves and the mattresses were extremely thin so it was a hard surface to sleep on. There was extremely bad wifi at the room, it was too weak to load websites. The showers were warm and the bathroom facilities were generally good. "Such warm hospitality from the lovely Jerry and a gorgeous lounge with stunning views out over the city! Great location which is convenient to the airport, great wall tours and on the metro central loop line. There are lots of great restaurants near the station. It is a great place to wake up and a good place to relax. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Thanks so much Jerry!"

"Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location."

"Hello all, Due to china government policy, no cheap rooms for foreigners, the owner of this hotel was arrested my china police (Kongan) and this hotel facility was shut down few weeks ago. I was stranded on the street and the phone call was not answered. The previous employee of this hotel answered and she said that she didn't receive my payment and she is not working at this hotel anymore. Be aware of those cheap hostels in China. They are closed or scams to get your money. Thanks."

天伦松鹤大酒店

"Highly recommend this hotel as the front desk staff were super helpful. As we did not get the local contact number, booking of places and dinner reservation were kind of difficult where the staff (did not managed to get the name) went thru the whole trouble to help us. It is also super near to 王府井 shopping street where the popular shopping (like Nike, Adidas as well as branded brand) can be seen and found there. It is also walking distance to 故宫 and 前门大街. Do take note when getting Didi as their sister hotel 天伦皇朝 is just next to it where driver will mistaken both hotel. This hotel Chinese name is 天伦松鹤大酒店. "
