" We thought that the master bedroom should have been provided with a TV and a couch or a couple of arm chairs. We absolutely loved the property layout & the space it afforded the whole family. The hot tub was really a relaxing bonus and was welcomed by the whole family. Finally we were very pleasantly surprised that tea and coffee were provided and really loved the surprise tub of chocolates which my children & grand children loved. Did not get a look-in. Will hope to be back in 2025. "

"There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "Loved the farmhouse, its location, the views, beautiful garden, the peace & quiet. A welcoming homely atmosphere, well-equipped, with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults and one baby. The beds were comfortable and the room sizes large. The outside of the farmhouse is very impressive and the inside doesn't disappoint and has lots of character. "We are a family of 12, ranging in age from 11 months to teenagers, parents and grandparents. The house was very well equipped, with lots of space for everyone and a large garden for the children to play. Liz, the owner, was extremely helpful.,The village has several cafes, pubs and shops, with two grocery stores.,There also are many excellent pubs with food in nearby villages It has not been overrun by tourists as many of the villages have, but is a nice village and has charming Sudeley Castle...

"Lovely two nights in a beautiful barn, well appointed for 10 people. Great local pub and surroundings. However, could do with some more dusting and repairs. Must be fine with spiders. But we really enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful kitchen with woodburner, great for when dogs got wet. Amazing lounge with panoramic views over the valley, also with woodburner. Two beautiful bedrooms with large comfy beds. The Retreat is really lovely, even better than photographs!"

"The staff were great and Roy, the manager, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room (suite) was wonderful and had all the amenities we could want. The property is located in a quiet section only a block or so away from many restaurants and shopping. Transportation by bus was nearby and the trains were within a short bus ride. We would gladly stay there again."

"Hotel and staff were excellent, my husband was unwell so we left early which was out choice. Your receptionist on Sunday morning was very helpful when we checked out and asked if there was anything she could do for my husband which was very nice of her, but he just wanted to get home as he was feeling poorly"

Good, but....

"Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors. "

"Lovely weekend in the Cotswolds staying at Lygon Arms. We stayed in a Cottage Room, which was very charming and quaint. The whole hotel is full of history and it's very charming. Staff were brilliant and friendly. "
