"This is a very quaint and clean cabin in the woods. It is like you are staying in a modern tree house. There is no AC and the heat source is a wood burning stone. It says they have radiant heat but it was not on during our stay so the floors were cold. The biggest negative for us, is there was no privacy. Yes, the cabin is somewhat secluded in the woods, but NONE and I mean NONE of the windows have blinds or curtains, and there are neighbors. If you can see them then someone can see you! ...

"Cedarwood is a special place. It is rustic but still has modern amenities. The location is the perfect launching point to all the outdoor activities that Mt Hood has to offer (we went on several awesome hikes). Ian is the ideal host and was very attentive to our needs. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"Absolutely adorable cabin in the woods by the river. Very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable!! It was the perfect location for starting our trail run around Mt Hood (Timberline Trail) from Top Spur trailhead. It had reliable WiFi for the one working remote one day of our stay. Very cozy!!"

"The hosts were very communicative. Aside from issues using the community swimming pool, it was the perfect stay! Gorgeous little A-frame in the Zigzag community near Mt Hood. Clean, well appointed and easy to walk in and immediately start relaxing. "

"We enjoyed listening to the river while sitting on the outdoor swing. The view from the upstairs master bedroom was wonderful. Looks like the cabin is newly remodeled. We’d recommend this property. The only negative remarks are: It would have been nice to know there was only a Kerig coffee maker and no coffee pot. Also very few mirrors."

"The cabin had some quirks about. It must’ve been on an ant hill, as there was an extreme issue with ants. Cleanliness was less than desirable cobwebs everywhere dirty fan, not kept horribly as your toilets and areas were clean, but the overall cleanliness of the place was not desirable."

"This place is amazing! Gorgeous historical cabin in a very convenient place to explore the Mt Hood area. The property is so gorgeous and the creek was beautiful. We loved the deck and hearing the creek at night when you are sleeping is so relaxing, I got the best sleep! The grill was so nice we cooked so much good food and had the best time just playing in the creek and catching minnows. The kids played badminton and played in the creek then we warmed up in the hot tub. I cant say enough about...

"My husband and I had a relaxing stay at the Shellrock Cabin in Stevenson. The location is amazing - convenient to Stevenson, White Salmon/Bingen, Hood River and the valley, Cascade Locks, as well as Camas and Vancouver. It was quiet and peaceful, and the property is exactly as advertised. Libby was helpful and went beyond expectations in accommodating a special request."

"This was a nice comfortable place to stay with an amazing view of the river valley. I appreciated the low fuss check out. Matthew was also helpful in giving advice about getting to Edgefield and back. An electric tea kettle would have been nice since we are not Keurig fans, but otherwise everything was perfect."
