This was perfect!On Friday night, we had a pizza making contest and my adult kids played games and went into the hot tub in the light snow! I woke up early before anyone else on Saturday and sat in the living room with a cup of hot coffee, while looking out at the snow. It was a great chance to just eat all day, spend time together and have a fun...

"Great house and great location if the backside of the mountain is open. House has everything you need to entertain all ages. Only complaint is hot water. When you have that many people, doing dishes, laundry, and trying to shower after a day of skiing some were left with cold water. Besides that great house. "

"My friends and I had a wonderful girls weekend away in the Laurel highlands. House was very spacious and clean, loved the hot tub. It was only a few minutes from some hiking trails, which we enjoyed late morning after the rain stopped. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We really loved this property - so homelike and cozy. Very clean, and beautiful property with view. We went skiing at Seven Springs which was 25-30 min from the house. Would love to stay in Fall and Summer, lots to do in the area."

"Stayed at the Stay in Ohiopyle “Karly” apartment. My wife and I desperately needed a night away from everything. This was a perfect getaway with so much to do nearby. Comfy couch, beds, and had all the essentials needed for our stay. Also really enjoyed the hole in the wall bar next door called “The Twisted Spoke”."

"Our ski weekend at The Homestead was fantastic and the place was perfect for our group (two families with teenage kids)! Everyone enjoyed spending time around the fireplace and the location to the slopes can't be beat! Great communication with the owner and we would definitely book this place again!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, well-stocked, and exactly as described—if not better. Being just 2 miles from Seven Springs Resort made it incredibly convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub—it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of seminars. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Highly recommend!"

She was very communicative throughout our entire stay, met us upon arrival (it was late in the evening too) for a quick tour, and provided us with some helpful local recommendations for meals. "Clean, quiet rooms, nice views and friendly staff. My only recommendation is that the restaurants open earlier for those of us who have to be somewhere or do something before 7 a.m. A 6:00 open time would be helpful."

"This was such a perfect place for my husband and I to get away for our anniversary. Check in was easy and the instructions were clear. The place was clean and really set up with everything that we needed. The location was gorgeous and within driving distance from a bunch of fun things to do. We would highly recommend this! "

Will be staying there a 4th time

"This is the third time that I stayed at this hotel. This time I brought my mother and had to make a change at check-in due to the need to have a roll in bathroom for my mother's room. The staff changed the reservation for us which took some time as I booked on a third party site - I am done with third party sites as this is the second time I had an issue - but the staff was committed to making the change for me and they did. Staff also game some great information on places to eat. It is so nice when they are able to provide local insights. The room itself was spotless and comfortable."

Always a good experience

"Holiday Inn Express is our favorite chain of hotels. The customer service is always phenomenal. My son is in a wheelchair and the manager personally called me to make sure that the room I selected would best accommodate him. There were complimentary water and snacks at the front desk and there is always a delicious complimentary breakfast as well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone"
