"We just finished a three night stay at Lofoten Base Camp. I cannot speak more highly of this place. It was clean, comfortable and a superb location for our photography trip. All the major photographic sights were within a half hour’s drive except south Lofoten which was about an hour away. They are in the process of building an onsite restaurant which will certainly add another convenient aspect to this property. The owner is charming and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Lofoten islands no matter for what purpose."

"This hotel is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the service from everyone I came into contact with was incredible. From front desk, to the dining staff, and even a housekeeper who taught me how to lock my door lol. Everyone working there was great! Second of all, it’s a beautiful hotel, and I think at least half of their rooms have sea views. I was soooo happy with my room! It was clean and very cozy. Plus, heated bathroom floors blew my mind lol. Lastly, the included breakfast was so good! They also had unlimited tea and coffee available. I am definitely a coffee drinker and I think I had at least 10+ lattes even though I just stayed just 3 days. Overall, this hotel is worth their price! I left obsessed it."

"Grerat place to stay with a top floor cocktail bar. Perfect for waiting out a snowstorm. Local police are pretty ruthless with the parking tickets though :("

"The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, especially “Dougie”. He was so nice to let me check in earlier than schedule. Also, I really liked the breakfast buffet. Lots of options. The Scandinavian design of the building, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and view from the balcony of my room—so delightful. I’ve been all over…and this hotel ranks way up there!!!"

"Close to the airport. Even though I wasn’t driving I noticed quite a few Tesla charging stations out front."

"Truly great stay at Wood Hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. Comfy chairs and comfy bed. The bathroom was good and had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. But the star of the show was definitely the buffet breakfast. It was huge and there was something for everyone. Breakfast is on the 7th floor and is set out in a lovely spacious dining area. The hotel is set at the top of a hill, a little out from the main town (maybe 7-8 mins by car), so not far. We ate our breakfast and took in the view at the same time - you get a great view over the sea, airport and town below. We really hope to stay again sometime soon."

"A chic and nice hotel with lovely views. Location is a bit difficult if you don’t have a car, plan to spend on taxi’s or walk an icy long trek to get to the city center. "

"Beautiful hotel. The lobby/bar is a fantastic space. The rooms are on the smaller side but we had a large bathroom. Breakfast før excellent. We were met with friendly and accommodating staff. Recommended!"
