"The staff here was great, not having an en suite bathroom wasn’t a problem and there were so many bathrooms and showers in the facility to use. Great activities you get a discount on."

"I have truly traveled the world over decades and no other hotel has been as friendly, comfortable, and lovely as this small hotel, a lovingly renovated historic farm home.. It's on a beautiful, mountainous fjord with hosts as kind and friendly as anywhere on our planet. The place is a real gem in several ways. "

"Do yourself a favour and stay here! What a cool experience staying above a working fishing cabin. Clean, modern, charming rooms smell of cedar. Shared bathrooms were plentiful and clean. Shampoo and soap provided. Restaurant besides was great, though breakfast not included and a bit pricey ($60 CAN for 2). Pillows hard and lumpy. Would absolutely stay again and recommend for this incredible experience. "

"Late 1800s style decor, shared restrooms, and rustic setting and approach to facilities. The owner is very helpful and the staff is very polite. Other lodgers very friendly and it adds to the experience. Communal dinners are served but we were sightseeing so didn’t partake. "

"The hotel is ok if you need it just for a couple of days. There’s no reception. You check in yourself by taking your key for a locker in front of your room. Room was ok, but it looked quite old. The only problem is the location is quite outside from the center and you need to walk a bit to reach it."

"What a great find, Ifound thisnand read a few reviews which were not great but it turns out these were for the old mangement. The room was clean and well appointed and the shower was great, super tasty fresh salmon evening meal and a very dood breakfast spread. Will definately be back."

"Mer idyllisk plass kan man lete lenge etter. Alt var helt perfekt, sjarmerende rom, hus og ansatte. Vi var så heldige å ha strålende sol med en vakker solnedgang. Vi kommer gjerne igjen."
