"Close to the city with a neighborhood feel"

"As in previous reviews the neighborhood looks a bit sketchy. It was quiet and the neighbors were very nice. The house is clean and roomy. Plenty of towels for the the bathrooms, but it would have been nice to have dish towels "

"The location was perfect for our purposes. We were close to other family members. It turned out to be quiet and close to Winn Dixie and close to Frankie and Johnny’s. Delicious food.The location is close to Audubon Park and the zoo as well as the park along the river. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance on magazine Street. There were glitches with checking in. I’m not sure if it was my phone not working or an issue with Vrbo. When I called Vrbo, they quickly gotten in touch...

"Loved the Theme of the House! The location was great! Had zero problems or complaints about the house or location. It was close enough to restaurants and the local gas station. I highly recommend staying there to anyone. "

"I had a major surgery in NOLA and was required to stay in the area for 5 days after discharge. This was a perfect location to recover! The king sized bed was so comfortable and separate from the main living space so I could retreat while my husband worked or watched tv. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. We felt very safe in this location. I have another 5 night stay in NOLA in a few months and will check to see if this location is available again."

"The space is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the host is very responsive. Walkable to Magazine Street and Mister Mao’s, which was our favorite meal of our entire time in NOLA. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the French Quarter, about 30 on Uber, so just factor that in to your planning. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend!"

"We enjoyed this property and its location very much. Easy travel to downtown and the French Quarter via the Canal St trolley system. Lots of good restaurants in Mid Town, and the neighborhood is peaceful and feels safe at night. Canal street traffic takes a while to get used to but we did after a few days.Upstairs neighbors seemed to be up and walking all hours of the night, not sure what that was about. Other neighbors were friendly and shared good info about nearby parks and restaurants.As a...
