"Bei Familie Maurer wurden wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Uns wurde alles gezeigt was wir benutzen durften . Sehr schön fanden wir das wir jeden Morgen extra für uns ausgewählte Brötchen erhalten haben und so ein tolles Frühstück für den Start hatten. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und uns fehlte nichts denn wir genossen die unendliche Ruhe die wir zuhause leider nicht haben. "We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."
