"Peaceful and relaxing. A few things would have been nice to know ahead of our trip. Difficult to get to the water to swim. Did not know when trash pick up was scheduled and had to remind owner that it was not picked up. All that being said - it was very enjoyable"

"Interesting old cabin in a pretty location. The kitchen was well supplied with all cooking items we needed. Furnace worked great, and the fireplace was very nice as well. Plenty of space. Only downside was the first night was breezy and one bedroom had some gaps in the walls where the chinking had fallen out--a wee bit drafty. All in all, a fun place though."

"The GOOD: Checking in was a breeze, the location for what we needed was excellent and the living spaces where comfortable and cozy. The BAD: The outside of property was not well kept and the seating outside was not what was portrayed in the pictures. Deck was a bit sketchy and table and chairs where dirty as was the window sills on the inside of cabin. The UGLY: The basement was wet and musty and smelly (like cat piss). Would not allow anyone to go down because when you open the basement door...

"Perfect setup! Great for a getaway. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. It was private, quiet and gorgeous. Will definitely be going back!"

"It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat...
