"The host (Hiro) was super helpful and very kind. Before our stay, he reached out to us to ask if we wanted to be picked up at the train station. We took him up on his offer and our ride was there on time waiting for us when we arrived. He then drove us to a local supermarket so we could get groceries, and he waited for us there patiently. "The villa that we stayed in was well kept and very clean! The local area was beautiful and quiet. Our group had decided the rent cars which made getting around the area that much easier as well as the location of the villa having easy and accessible parking. "最寄りの駅の下吉田駅から歩いて行けるので、車がなくても問題ありません。神社もものすごく近くて、リビングからも富士山が見えます。施設もとても綺麗で、間取りも良く、一階と二階にトイレがあり、すごい良かったです。ドライヤーが壊れていて使えませんでしたが、冬ではなかったので、特に問題はありませんでした。"

"A wonderful place to stay, I highly recommend! We were 4 and had plenty of space, if You’re a group of friends travelling together and visiting Fuji, this is the place to go! I would definitely go back."

"Units were spotless and comfortable and communication with staff for any queries we had were handled quickly and proficiently. Only negative is that the railway line ran right behind the property. Fortunately it was a local train and was not too frequent or bothersome but if you’re after a quiet spot, you may be affected by the noise. "

"What a wonderful holiday home. New and fresh, photos don’t do it justice. Lots of space, bedrooms are upstairs - 2 bedrooms each with 4 single beds so could accommodate a large group. Few minutes walk to the lake with fabulous views of Mt Fuji and close to Oishi park. You can see Mt Fuji from the holiday house and it had a little deck (but no table/chairs). Really quiet area. No washer/dryer which was the only negative. House is managed by the shop across the road which is where you check in...

"A little house on legs, with bedroom and living / kitchen rooms. Very functional and clean. Makes a good base-camp for exploring. 2 minutes from station. The ‘loft’ beds have very low headroom if you needed to use them. Slide in! Good email communications on how to find key."

"Samurise Daruma is a convenient place to stay for visiting Mt Fuji and the five lakes region. The self check-in option is convenient. The area around the property is easy to navigate. Fujikyu station is just a few steps away. The property is a little dated but clean and has everything you need for a short stay."

"The cabin was very nice. I was late to check in by 10 minutes but I let the front desk know and they gave me another option to pick up my key. They ended up waiting for me anyways which was very sweet of them. Had a great stay!"

"I think HAOSTAY is very value for money as the rooms are big (as of Japan standards) and it offers a great view of Fuji from the room window and rooftop. The Japanese or sandwich breakfast options were great. It is a 15 min walk from the train station which is manageable. For transport to the train station, they have fixed vehicle trips at 9am, 9.30am and 10am. It is recommended to book them the night beforehand as there are only spaces for approx 7-9pax. All in all, I would definitely come back again if I were to go to Kawaguchiko."

"This stay has been amazing! The staff were very friendly and nice. The only con about this stay is that the hotel is pretty far from any of the things that most people want to do in the My Fuji area. The room service was delicious & the balcony Mt Fuji view room was breathtaking! "
