One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Japan. The Japanese really know how to do luxury! The staff was outstanding - helpful in every way. The buffet would put a cruise ship to shame. Excellent onsen.

Beautiful hotel by the lake
Beautiful hotel by the lake with easy transportation as bus stop is just across the street. buffet dinner/ breakfast provide great food and beautiful setting/arrangement. the club building guest can access Club lounger with evening wine/snacks and easy music, we enjoyed it. the onsen was good but if you can, try to book private onsen room, one session 50 minutes, great view and privacy , totally worth it with very reasonable price.

I really appreciated the service provided by all hotel staff who were helpful and nice to us although we arrived a bit late 5:30pm under heavy rain - they helped us to take care of luggages and bought us to the lounge with drink and snack then wait for the check-in process. The room was spacious with wonderful lake view and the outdoor onsen had 180 degree of lake view too. Food was delicious with lots of variety from steak, seafood, Japanese udon/raemen, sashimi, and lots more....with lake view in the restaurant again. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy your holiday with your family and friends!

impressive 180 degrees view of lake toya from room
although dissapointed that the fireworks was cancelled the night we arrived due to rain, the next day's incredible view of lake toya from our wide room windows more than make up for the cancelled fireworks. dinner and breakfast both buffet style is plentiful and delicious. we opted for the private baths instead that night which is so relaxing. clean and spacious room but parking is not so convenient since need to park at the hotel's designated car parking space away from the hotel - they will take you to/from hotel and carpark anyway. overall - a memorable stay

This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though.
