"A very convivial evening with a lovely ambience in a cosy room. There were a couple of log burning fires. Breakfast was in the main dining area overlooking the extensive grounds and waters that fed the mill. The food in the evening was excellent and breakfast very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar had a couple of decent beers. The gardens I imagine would be great in the summer months. "

"The whole experience was top quality from the moment we stepped in, beer selection in the bar was excellent (something for everyone) the room was super clean and cosy with everything you needed (shower was superb) bed was super comfy as well!! We also dined there in the evening with a great and varied choice on offer!!! Big up to the chef as the food was top quality. We will definitely be returning soon even if it’s just to dine out!!!"

"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"Super friendly and helpful staff . Property is a little tired in places . Could do with sound insulation between rooms very noisy plumbing between rooms) and floors! Especially when a function is on! Having said that our room was lovely and clean with heaps of room , very handy for trip into Southampton for the boat show. Lovely breakfast too! "

"Great place but breakfast is massively overpriced. One option of paying £29.99. Weather you want a limited continental or just scrambled eggs in toast it’s one price. Quite archaic. "

"When I arrived I was a little concerned about road noise, but I needn't have worried, the Hotel was lovely and quiet inside. The staff where incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food was great, room was great, bar was great... What more can I say!"

"I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "
