"A lovely experience overall. Friendly staff and a fantastic location. My 13 year old daughter and I booked the Superior Twin Room. There was a major incident in central Amsterdam the day we travelled and we had some trouble getting to the hotel as there were no trams. We were stressed, tired and hungry were given an unexpected bill and not shown to our room. There was a 'Burlesque' book in the room to look at, which was strange with a teenager. "If you like historic properties, in a central locations, this is for you. Modern gleaming bathrooms offset the darkish, rich red rooms and interiors. The lobby is small, and we were restricted to the bar lounge for dinner with a limited menu of average quality. "Location, location, location. Just a few meters from the Central Station, so you have easy access to local trains to the airport or the windmill region, to international trains and to all metro lines and almost all tram lines. Besides that, it is a clean and modern hotel, with very friendly staff. The breakfast is very good, but a little expensive. The room had a good bed. "Staff in the front office needs to be more friendly instead of aggressive. When I checked in an older gentleman was very angry about something and just because I asked him I checked in online he was not being polite so I went out to bring my wife and some lady helped me. "

"The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it. "
