"You can't ask for much more than the place being exactly as advertised, that is a big plus! Take their "glamping" description to heart though. There is no Wi-Fi, and only a single USB type-A port for electrical plug in. I had to go buy a USB type-A to type-C cable to charge our phones, oops!Scott and Shona are lovely, and the recommendations in their info booklet in the cabin are awesome!"

"This really did feel like the ultimate secluded retreat. The cabin is wonderful, so many little touches and inclusivities to make your stay really lovely. So lovely spending the morning sitting in one of the rocking chairs on the deck, reading and listening to the birds. Or finding the glow worms in the bank opposite the cabin- a real highlight! Cant recommend this place enough."

"Great communication before our stay. Such a beautiful place in Paradise valley. Lovely property with garden surrounding, the rooms are clean, well equipped and modern. Close enough to Rotarua for trips in and shopping, but isolated enough to feel like you’re off grid. Amazing - we loved it. Thank you Heather. Recommend the Wai Ariki hot springs and spa as well - Restorative journey - pure luxury - we were on our own there in the evening. "
