"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. "I booked an impromptu overnight trip to Pitlochry for my wife and I to chill out and relax. Check in was straightforward and we were given a room with a view of sorts, basically a view of the car park and a part of the hills. Room unfortunately smelled of wet dog, it was clean but there was a lingering smell. Only negatives were no late room service due to having no stock on both nights understandable with it being 1st & 2nd January but slightly disappointing but got an UberEats so all good.
