Westfield House Farm

3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (80)
"We stayed 2 nights in the Curlew hut for my partners birthday. We got luck and had really clean crisp autumnal days, which gave amazing views of the dark skies. The hut had everything we needed for the break but much longer than a couple of nights might be a bit trying. Hot tub took about 2 hours to warm up and was still warm the next day. Great location close to Cragside which we highly recommend."

Host & Stay | Highfield

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (9)
"On approaching the village using the postcode - and also the location link on your house details- took us quite the wrong direction and it took us about 30 minutes to find it - only after asking locals and at the pub. The description “ opposite the red gravel path” was not accurate - in fact it was “ at the red gravel path”. Perhaps a small map would be useful? Our first impressions of the house were a little disappointing. We felt that some aspects had clearly been either been ignored or...

The Garden Rooms

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (152)
"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay. Also, the couch was extremely stained, i assume from people sitting on it when wet after using the hottub. It...
