"The staff here are incredible, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for a nearby wedding and they gave us an iron and iron board and taxi recommendations. The food also tasted amazing and was great quality, the menu isn't large but they do regularly change their specials. "My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. "This hotel was fabulous. A lovely room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. A lovely breakfast to start the day. We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day"

"We had a lovely family stay, the pool was great and opened early so kept the kids entertained before breakfast with early wake ups! Lovely little play area outside and play area inside to keep kids entertained for a little while, nice size rooms and all very clean. Close to Lancaster town centre beautiful area "

"We stayed here for one night at a great price. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious, with tea and coffee provided. The shower was fantastic with shower gel provided. We had a great sleep, comfy bed and there was hardly any noise from outside. We parked at the Auction Mart car park which is a 5 minute walk away £14 for 24 hours. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The staff where lovely ,the food delicious especially breakfast, the resteraunt and bar area was very nice. The problem was our accomodation location, which was in the annexe if you have mobility issues there is a short very steep path down to it so we had to use car to get up and down to the main building other than it was a perfect stay we wii be back We will ve returning for another stay"
