"Grandparents from down south catching up with Queensland children and grandchild. Perfect for what we needed, lots of thoughtful extras such as games for us all to play, not just the one child. Everything we needed for meal prep, and such a quiet location with beach access,plus the pool for the times when the beach is windy. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you."

"The communication and ease of booking is excellent . The house is clean and has a lovely look over the beach . It was windy while we were there . I’m not sure if that is usual and you can’t swim in the beach due to crocodiles however it’s stunnng to wake to the sound and look of waves . Great managers of the property! Also no blinds and doors are not solid so you can hear everything"

"The beach Villa was nice. Unfortunately 6 out of 7 days were gale force winds. Their was only 2 afternoons I could sit outside to enjoy a glass of wine and swim in the pool. Improvements definately need to be looked at. For executive villa I would have expected a nice bath tub to relax, a small area of fencing for dog so they don't run down to the beach and get eaten by Croc.The hallway light didn't work from the downstairs,Microwave door didn't close(had to slam it shut).Upstairs bathroom tiles...

"Newell Beach is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it"

"The home and grounds are beautiful and overall we would recommend it. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated as advertised for July. Also whilst the beach views are stunning, you cannot swim due to possible crocs (as we were told by locals) but this is not mentioned on the ad. Many of the window openings are broken, we had dirty blankets on 2 of the beds, mould on the bathroom ceilings, dirty cutlery in the drawer and general scuff marks on walls. Our bedroom balcony had a broken...
