"I was only staying overnight but I was very comfortable - I am over 80 and disabled so that was very important. The only problem was that although I thought I had booked an accessible room I hadn't so it is important to talk to the reception team - who swiftly corrected that and found me an accessible room within a few minutes. I didn't like the AI receptionist who answered the phone but she is easily sidestepped by just insisting 'Manager' and you get put through. The dinner was very good."

"Excellent!! Warm welcome followed by delightful service at dinner. Delicious mushrooms and pie - and plenty of it. The room is furnished in a modern style with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. All this followed by my favourite breakfast - eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. "

"An old-fashioned country pub next to Culham station. Some low level train and road noise but still peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast."

"(Stayed in Room 2) Firstly the food was absolutely fantastic! I mean wow, wow, wow. Devoured the lot! 5* for the food. We would happily come for dinner again and again. The room was pleasant, clean and the bath was lovely and spacious (could fit two SLIM people satisfactory). Loved the tea selection and mini fridge compliments as well! However, when you opened the cupboard with the ironing board, a smell of mouldy cheese comes wafting out (so I quickly closed that and moved swiftly on) we booked...

"The staff here avoided air fresheners at my request, and avoided putting the radiator on. The room was still warm in November. It’s in a lovely rural setting. I would love to stay for pleasure next time. "

"What a great place! Themed with Horses! Who knew? Fantastic service and very excellent food, both dinner (evening) and the breakfast. Clean rooms, comfortable and a good shower. The dinner service team were great, the place gets quite busy (not surprised) and the hosts were still very attentive and efficient to serve the table. Overall a very nice place to stay and a thankyou to Belle (waitress) for the service we received."
