"Excellent townhouse, right in the centre of St Andrews, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house was spacious and perfect for our family with 3 young children and 2 teenagers. Kitchen well equipped ( although the microwave needs fixing - the control knob is faulty). A lovely family long weekend away. "

"Outstanding place for a St Andrews golf trip for 4 players. Each of the 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are perfect. Kitchen is very modern and well outfitted. Family room comfortable enough for twice the size and there is a cozy outdoor dining area. Walk to dozens of restaurants and pubs and easy 15 minute walk to the Old Course. We even walked over with our clubs on our backs...so easy."

"What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."

"When I first saw this place on VRBO I was excited, being a former pastor. The host was very nice and flexible with us when our arrival time was delayed. However, we both felt a little uneasy. The walkway back to the entrance is a little odd. I wouldn't have wanted to walk it after dark. It's hard to put a finger on, but I just couldn't completely relax. "The cottage was great for us. Spent a lot of daytime away visiting family. But there was everything you needed inc. A teapot which safly a lot properties lack. Fantastic stay and great communications with the hostess."
