This hotel was certainly fine, but it seemed like a definite step “down” than others I saw at similar or only slightly higher price points in the area. It was ok overall but seemed new and a bit thrown together in some ways. Overall, again, it’s ok - but if you see a place at a similar price point that has a longer record of existing and positive reviews, I may go with the other option.

The location near broadway is very convenient, but this is not a very well set up hotel. You can tell it was repurposed from a catholic institution that left it in good condition but it’s weird things like bare concrete floors, rocking chairs that tip you over, very high beds, and a fridge that is oversized for the room blocking the sink! It’s also very noisy and a bit creepy to see people crowded outside. It gives off a motel vibe. It’s okay but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Pros: location to 9/11 memorial, someone at front desk 24 hours and respectful, staff addressed needs when asked Cons:room is a converted dorm room and it looks it, besides bed the furniture looks like college dorm furniture, hallways still have Christian college mission statements and signage, floors are all painted cement and not complete in room 23, floor in room is definitely slanted?,room could by cleaner, vent in bathroom very dirty, long hair stuck on bathroom wall and I’m bald so not mine, medicine cabinet in bathroom rusted inside, caulking by sink discolored and cracked, unable to call down to front desk no signage on phone, no amenities in room just one roll of toilet paper and couple of poor quality towels, noisy all night long, staff appear to be living in room labeled Breezeway on second floor(I know because I went in room wondering what the Breezeway was) stacks of old college mattresses a stove with cooked food on it a frig someone sleeping on mattress on floor). Could hear staff going in and out of this room throughout the night, outside noise is loud, there were black garbage bags in hallways all night and a mop bucket with dirty water( I never saw any rats or bugs but with water and garbage in hallways it won’t be long), no iron but got one after asking at front desk, unfortunately iron was old with burnt debris on plate and no ironing board. no secure area to check luggage, we were told we could leave it by vending machine in lobby.

Questionable practice in the documenting of CC & security pin (instead of placing a digital authorization hold) for in case of incidentals and signing a blank incidentals agreement upon check-in.. A little awkward to walk around full-size fridge in direct pathway of hotel room door entryway. The shower was ice cold early the next morning, no credit applied towards this inconvenience...

Didn't like the fact that the property asked for me to turn my TV down. Are the walls made out of paper. The guest next door was complaining that she was trying to sleep.

Definitely NOT what it looks like in the pictures. Lobby is tiny, walkways are small, room was just a bunch of old random furniture thrown together. No blackout curtain or shade, just a thin curtain that didnt cover whole window. Screaming kids running ip and down the street at 1am and then noisy garbage trucks starting at 2am.No body wash or conditioner, only shampoo dispenser was filled. Elevator blocked by multiple huge trash bags filled with dirty bedding. Pile of bags was 4ft high by 6 ft wide. Mops and buckets blocking hallway.

To me the overall experience was medium-poor for the price I payed. There are no bedside lights, not all the sockets were working properly, no boilers in all the property, only black out curtains, no hangers, a huge fridge blocks the access to the sink, etc. The location is super convenient
