We'll be back to stay here again. The front desk staff and door man were wonderful! We weren't fans of the breakfast but everything else about the room and facilities were great. It is right by the police and fire station so we heard lots of sirens but it's New York so there's always going to be loud noises. We definitely recommend staying here.

Convenient location but rather noisy, with many sirens (police, fire, etc) in the area. Property could use some updating. Pillows were too flat and room was way too hot (turned heat down as much as possible and eventually turned it off). Cucumber water in lobby was a hit or miss, often empty and no one refilled. No option to purchase coffee in hotel - have to use in room machine or go outside. Front staff not particularly friendly or personable other than one young man who checked us in (sadly, didn't get his name).

We came to NYC for an overnight. The Fifty was the perfect location to walk easily to every place we wanted to see. The room was very nice (though the soap containers hadn’t been filled, and the fan in the bathroom was broken), and it was relatively quiet. Romeo, the doorman, was AMAZING! He was so kind and helpful. Our porter and valet were also incredibly kind and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely go again! We highly recommend.

Bigger room than what you normally find in this area of NYC. Price point is fair. Carpets could use a deep clean in places. The bellmen were always super helpful. Very close walk to 5th Ave and all Rockefeller action.

We had two rooms. 705 me and my husband. 1106 our daughter and family. Everything in 1296 was fine. We had no hot water. I took cold showers cwe talked with front desk twice. They made an attempt to fix it but only very Luke warm. Not a good experience

Overall, the hotel was a good choice fir our needs. It was in a safe area and had a lot of food options within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is getting fairly tired and our room was pretty cramped, especially the bathroom. However, it was really a good value compared to many similar hotels in NYC.
