3 nights in Coney Island
This was a very beautiful scenic trip my boyfriend and I took to check out one of our favorite bands playing at ford amp theatre... It's had it's good and bads, just like all places but some good pointers if your planning on staying here.... Be ready for awful roads! still under heavy construction right in front of the building, which was hammering away bright and early. Also because of that you have you walk all your luggage completely around the building and up 3 flights of stairs. Now I'm young and able but if your older and packing for a few days this will be one heck of a work out and after hours of driving in the car and then having to do that, I was exhausted!!!! With that being said I would also advise to stay to main roads specially at night but again it's like that for any city after a certain time. Other than that Edwin was wonderful and made us feel very comfortable we saw him about 1-2 times a day and lives above the apartment. So if you ever have any questions or want some suggestions he's around! Also big perk if you bring your car there is a safe place to park for a additional price considering how insane parking prices are down there.. that was a huge plus. This place was also super close to the board walk, amusement park and beach and we spent a lot of time checking out what coney island had to offer. Over all very comfortable bed, AC was awesome! And even had a coffee maker that had the option for k-cups! Lastly to top it off a super nice swivel flat screen. Really enjoyed our stay! Thanks again Edwin!

La casa è pulita e i proprietari molto gentili. Nel complesso però avrebbe bisogno un po' di manutenzione, in particolare il divano letto è pessimo per dormire. La zona è carina per la vicinanza della spiaggia e del Luna park. Ma scomoda a livello di servizi tipo market forniti.

Authentic Brooklyn Charm
Edwin is very friendly and responsive. Easy connections to Manhattan via the metro. The apartment is a third-floor walkup in a quiet building. Great views of the Coney Island boardwalk, park, and ocean. Everything needed to cook simple meals. WiFi, Hulu, Netflix, etc. on a nice flat screen TV. Friendly laundromat conveniently located at the end of the block. This was a great base from which to explore the area. We really enjoyed our 6 night stay!

Great easy going host
We’re in Brooklyn for work, and I needed to put two guys up. We had a problem with parking since we had a large work truck and an equipment trailer. Even though it was late on Sunday night, Edwin helped us solve our problem. Good guy.

Comfortable, spacious, and easy to arrange!
Edwin was very helpful and responsive in setting up the stay and handling the logistics of arrival. The apartment we booked was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. The Netflix/Hulu/cable options were a pleasant surprise! We visited in the offseason expecting the surrounding area to be pretty quiet, but there were still a lot of fun places to visit within a short walk (the boardwalk is just down the block) or a quick, cheap cab ride, and it was easy to hop out and buy things from nearby grocery stores. A comfortable spot in a convenient location in a laid back area worth exploring any time of year!

Clean and decent
Our stay was from 10/8-12/16. My Sister told me about the website. I was very skeptical of renting a place from the website since I never had done it before. How ever we needed a place to stay, while I visited my family in New York. So I looked up the reviews. I found this place about 40 minutes away from my family. (Driving Distance). I could not stay at my families home. Where they live, there is not enough room for four more. We have a big family. However, This place was very comfortable for my daughters, my grand-baby and myself. Being that we had the baby. we needed room for the playpen. We did not cook but we definitely used the microwave and boiled water for the baby's milk. We didn't spend to much time there as we were out and about visiting and shopping. When we did get back we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. We were able to walk to the beach and to the Aquarium is two blocks away. Not much of a night life for the area. Which was okay for us. Since we were not looking for that. I do recommend this place. The owner Edwin was very polite. Thank you Edwin.

A Weekend To Remember!!
I traveled to NYC to hang out with friends and family. I typically stay in Harlem with my sister, but it tends to get a little crowded in her studio apartment plus I wanted to be close to the beach this weekend. So I decided to find my own little home away from home. This Place was everything I could have wanted and more. Spacious, clean, and literally a block over from the beach as well as other various activities. When I arrived I was greeted by Edwin, who is extremely nice might I add :-)... He showed me to the room and explained all expectations and even offered coupons and guides to things in the area. I did take advantage of the affordable private parking and could literally see my car from the apartment window another huge plus in my book. This place was amazing, affordable, and I do plan to visit again. The only con that I have is the streets of Coney Island suck! There are major pot holes so if you are driving do yourself and your tired a favor and drive slow :-). But of course that has no bearing on the amazing deal you will get choosing this property!! Nice convenient clean place.

Authentic NYC experience
My wife and I were looking for an authentic New York experience near one of the city's most popular beaches, and Edwin's spot was perfect. Having grown up visiting Coney Island as a city kid, this was a special stay for me. The studio is located in a walk-up (3rd floor) in a working class neighborhood that reflects the diversity of Brooklyn. You can literally see and hear the sounds of the amusement park, shore birds and ocean from the apartment (great ocean breeze was also wonderful). Restaurants consist of mom and pop Jamaican, Latin American, and Italian eateries mixed in with classic boardwalk grub (i.e., Nathan's, Tom's Coney Island). Extra perks: Huge smart TV, Q Train (the best), Ford Amphitheater summer concerts, live conga drummers, house/salsa dancing on boardwalk, MCU Ballpark, Friday night fireworks, view of ocean/Coney Island. Will definitely come back and recommend!

Simple comfortable apartment. Perfect for me.
This is a great simple apartment with everything you need. Kitchen, bed, bathroom. 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Edwin was very helpful with directions and places to go. I would love to back.

Однокомнатная квартира на третьем этаже (лифта нет). Большая длинная комната рагграничена на 3 зоны: спальная с большой двухспальной кроватью, гостинная с двумя кожанными диванами и громадным телевизором на стене, и кухня с большим холодильником, газовой плитой, микроволновкой, кофеваркой и полным набором посуды. Отдельная ванная с душем. Кладовая с вешалками для одежды. Фен, утюг. Достоинства: матрац мягкий, большой диван раскладывается в еще одно двуспальное место, кабельное телевидение очень хорошего качества, из окон виден океан. До конечной остановки метро 3 квартала. Мы добирались до Манхеттена за 45 минут. Недостатки: нет никакого стола. Узкая барная стойка между кухней и гостинной на эту роль не годится по причине узости (около 25-30 см). This studio on the 3rd floor has 3 distinguished areas: bedroom, living and kitchen. In bedroom area there are queen bed with soft mattress, dresser with mirror and 6 drawers, night stand with lamp. In living area there are leather sofa-sleeper, loveseat and huge TV on the wall. Kitchen is fully equipped. Small closet has hungers. Good: cable TV, selling fans, ocean view, wireless internet, furniture is brand new, train stop is in 5-7 minutes walking distance. Bad: there is no table.

Was a bit sceptical but was not disappointed!
The apartment was perfect and fit all of our needs for a six night stay. It was spacious and provided more basic household essentials than what we expected. The surrounding neighborhood is far from glamorous but it is convenient to many local attractions as well as the transit. I must admit that I was scared to walk the streets at night but that fear did not last once I got the feel of the neighborhood...we travel as a family of six so we felt safe enough to return back to the apartment as late as 10pm several nights. Edwin the owner is nice and as friendly as you would expect from a New Yorker..lol.....but I personally loved it and by day 2 we all referred to it as home away from home.....three stars was given due to some everyday neighborhood incidents....but it is New York and we loved every bit of it!!!!
