Great place to stay. Modern and clean. Your within walking distance to see the top places most people come to visit NYC for. My only issue was the bed. Incredibly uncomfortable. There was not more support in the middle of the mattress. I was forced to sleep on my back as you would be in a U shape.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Motto. With that being said, you get what you pay for. The rooms are small, but that’s really all you need when you spend most of your day out and about in the city. My one warning for couples that are traveling together. The bathroom in our room was just a sliding piece of glass. If you are looking for privacy (or ventilation) in the bathroom, there isn’t much. With how close the hotel is to time square and the subway system, we will be staying here on our next trip to the city.

I loved this hotel, such a convenient location and close to Times Square and everything I was interested in doing while in NY. My only complaint is that the rooms were a tad too small. I was traveling with my 2 daughters, and although the beds accommodated the 3 of us, the space was too small. This would be a perfect sized room for 2 grown adults or 1 adult and 2 small children. Nevertheless I liked the hotel, the staff was good, the room was always clean and water, and towels restocked daily.

This location was perfect and within a few minutes walking distance to the theatre district, Times Square, Subway stations and dining. Grand Central was 15 min walking distance. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and will come back again if I return to NYC. Yes, the room was small, but perfect for a solo traveler and actually looked bigger than what the pictures depicted. If going as a group, you can do adjoining rooms as my room had that option on both sides. Modernly decorated and clean (yes daily housekeeping). For lodging in the city and location it was worth it compared to other options that were more expensive.

We chose this hotel because it’s near everything we wanted to be near midtown, uptown and downtown. The room is a bit small but it has everything you need as a couple.

The front desk host was very welcoming and professional. However, the room service staff was inconsiderate, inconsistent and unprofessional. I had to continiusly call about my order and then reorder because they didnt bring my entire the first time and my order didnt go through through the online system. I then had to place it manually after continously being transferred to their voicemail. I will not be staying here again although the issues were resolved.

Family of 6, 4 day trip. Connecting rooms were at opposite ends of the hotel - the staff were AMAZING and quickly accommodated our needs (including changing rooms adding an extra room) during a very busy time of the year. Restaurant staff were great with our 4 kids. Rooms are small but thoughtful layout and very clean! We had a great experience and will be back!

It's a great location to get around and explore New York. Outside can be noisy, but we didn't hear much of the noise, probably because we used white noise to sleep. The breakfast was good and the service was decent. Our room was always left clean when we got back, so that's awesome and appreciated. The only thing that wasn't great was the elevator. It took a really long time during the check in and checkout times so beware.

Great location. The hotel is in good condition and is clean. Very comfortable, and amenities are the ones we expected. The only opportunities areas that we found were that water in our room was warm and not hot; during the check-in process, the agent did not personalize and did not smile at all... check-in process was fast (Thank you for that and for the early check-in!). Lastly, false alarm activated during the night. It was well handled because the hotel had speakers in the room who alerted us that it was a false alarm.
