The staff were so welcoming and made us feel really comfortable. It is a great hotel for discovering Manhattan, close to Grand Central with the excellent Perfect Pint Irish bar close by.

This is a ‘bare-bones’ Hampton Inn. Rooms are pretty tight, no mini-fridge, average wear snd tear. Wall AC effective but loud. Breakfast 0ptions included cereal, yogurt, a pot of watery oatmeal, apples and bananas, bagels etc. and passable coffee (not a Marriott!). Location is the main selling point.

Great stay at this hotel. Lovely staff and breakfast was good. Rooms are pretty dated however, could do with modernising. Bed was very comfy and slept lovely though.

Staff friendly and very helpful! I especially apprecoated Victoria at the front desk who gave me suggestions on places to eat and directions to different attractions. Rooms decent size for NYC , clean, nice washroom with great shower head and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and type changed slightly daily. Only suggestions was to have frigs in room and ventilation fans in washrooms as room got a little muggy.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, now, and were very pleased both times. Very friendly desk service, great location if you need to be in the UN HQ area, and the room was clean and comfortable, if not terribly huge.

This is my go-to hotel when I visit the city. It’s in a great area (near Grand Central) with multiple subway lines nearby and all around good businesses in close proximity too. Hotel staff is always helpful and friendly.

The reception staff was very helpful. The included breakfast had excellent options. We stayed for 5 nights and each day they had different hot food for breakfast. The hotel's proximity to grand central station made it very easy for us to use public transport.
