"All front desk staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was excellent and in good working order. I missed the breakfast by 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants in the local area. I highly recommend staying here."

"The receptionist is an absolute pro: friendly and eager to help improve our stay. She should be running the NYC Four Seasons... Anyway, location is great with Starbucks across the lot. Hotel is quiet and extremely clean. It looks brand new both inside and out. We'll keep coming again and again. "

"Although this is an older property, the room was extremely clean. I did not check in until closet to 10 pm the evening of 4/26 and there was an issue with my reservation, my fault totally! I had inadvertently confirmed my stay for the night before. The gentleman at the front desk ( his name escapes me) was very accomodating, professional and understanding. The next morning (4/27) I spoke with the desk clerk on duty about the mistake I had made and she refunded my money for the night of 4/25. She was also very nice to do that. Whenever in the area, I will definitely stay here again. "

"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit."
