"This home is located in a great spot directly across from the park playground and splash fountain. We could easily take out young kids there daily. The fenced in yard was great for kids and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked, the only down side to the home is the flooring is slanted in a couple spots. If that bothers you it may not be the best home, but to us it was fine being an older home and all. The originsL features were great! We would come back."

"If you want the views this is your spot! The check-in process was incredibly easy. The hosts reached out the first day to wish us well and left snacks for us to enjoy. It was a short drive to the theme park and the historic attractions. Virginia was good to my little family. We will absolutely be back! "

"We planned a quick get-a-way and decided to come to Cape Charles to spend the day and stay over night. The house was charming with plenty of room. The owners communicated well and they were very accommodating on my last minute trip planning. The beach wasn’t far at all and town was in walking distance with nice weather. We came in March so it wasn’t perfect beach weather but we are hoping to come back when it’s warmer! "

"Great trip for spring break! The house is perfectly situated walking distance between the main park and beach. Having the golf cart available worked well for travel to and from the downtown shops and eateries. Ashley was easy, flexible, and very prompt to communicate with. This was our second trip to Cape Charles, this house was cozy and comfortable and truly felt like a vacation! "

"We had a restful cozy long weekend and enjoyed every local restaurant in town. By Sunday afternoon the weather warmed up enough to enjoy the green golf cart and we had everything we needed for a happy stay!"

"We had a wonderful and calm two nights. My husband and I were so relaxed. The home is in a great woodland setting with privacy. The pond could be viewed just outside the front door. The home's landscaping enhanced the site. The dock area is attractive. We had planned to use the kayaks but it was a little too chilly. Three bathrooms - no waiting! The king suite upstairs is huge. "Beautiful cottage in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. Loved sitting on the front porch in the morning. Our hosts thought of everything! Well stocked with everything and more than we needed. Plenty of space for us - close to lots of restaurants and historical locations - easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!"

"The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice. House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. "House was absolutely perfect. Outdoor space was fantastic for our corgi (yard and gated porch) to play. Plenty of room for older kids to spread out into the game barn. Very easy walk to the beach or town. Owners were lovely and very quick and thorough with communication. We’ve loved Cape Charles for years - but this is a new favorite! "

The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice.
