Good location and outlook, close to town but also quiet. Great basic breakfast options. Friendly hosts and respected our privacy. We were happy with our choice in accomodation.
Awesome bed and breakfast home stay with wonderful hosts
My friend and I had a lovely break away with caring hosts Judy and Dennis, we had our own space and freedom to enjoy there home and lovely gardens, thanks for your awesome hospitality and lovely chats, also welcoming into your home, was also easy enough to get around New Plymouth, we recommend this place to stay, thanks 😊
My stay here was extremely restful. Peaceful and quiet accommodation, beautiful trees and gardens to enjoy. Had everything I needed. Highly Recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal stay!
Judy and Dennis are fantastic hosts. Communication and check in was an absolute breeze. Their house is impeccably clean (seriously Judy how do you do it?!) and comfortable. We really appreciated the amenities such as shampoo, tea, and delicious fresh fruit. The location is fantastic as well as it’s close to Egmont National Park, New Plymouth, and Surf Hwy 45. Would stay here again and again.
My partner and I spent 3 nights with Judy and Dennis who were very charming, caring and friendly hosts. They quickly made us feel welcome and at home. The accommodation was warm and cosy. The beds were very comfortable so we both slept well.
All in all, we loved the location because of its proximity to the city centre and
It contributed to a very memorable stay in New Plymouth. We highly recommend our stay.
This is a shared property with the owner. Have not struck this before however there were no issues. Not being able to use the kitchen other than for breakfast, meant dining out each night was the only option, but New Plymouth has some great restaurants.
Judy and Denise are lovely people with a generous heart, the welcoming environment was wonderful and they had all the best tips on where to go.
Thanks guys
Judy was abdolutely lovely welcoming us into her beautiful house. Birdsong in the morning that we would have caught more of if it wasn’t for the heavenly bed we did not leave until absolutely nescessary in the morning. The bathtub was beautiful and we felt we had checked in to a luxury hotel.
Didn't actually stay these dates as my Mum died unexpectedly. Judy allowed us to cancel at the last minute and rebook at a later date, which was very kind and considerate.
Judy and Dennis are delightful. Warm and welcoming people with very comfortable accommodation. Lovely log fire in the evenings made us feel at home. Guided tour around the garden and came away with some extra plants for my garden as well as new foods in our diet. Highly recommend
We enjoyed our overnight stay and felt relaxed even in the short amount of time we were there.
Judy and Dennis are extremely accommodating and attentive.
They enjoy meeting people and looking after them. Lucky us!
We were so comfortable and felt well taken care of. A bonus being able to experience the beautiful and productive gardens. Judy and Dennis were attentive, thoughtful hosts, and our rooms were so cosy and peaceful. Definitely recommend, thanks Judy and Dennis!
The hosts were very nice and helpful The open fire was much appreciated .the beds were comfortable and facilities were fine .
The fruit and breakfast cereals were to our liking . We would go there again .
