I mentioned to the chef that he liked using nuts as there were hazel nuts with the fish and a mixture of nuts with the baked apple in pastry. He looked a bit bemused and then said Well, it's autumn. "The lady that runs the House (the Owner) is lovely. She was keen to make everybody welcome. Breakfast was lovely when served with other guests whom we got to talk to. The grounds of the house are a real joy to see with great facilities well kept. I would stay there again. "
