"We had a lovely stay at the Seaside Cabin Retreat in Hayling Island. Sharon has provided a very charming and comfortable cabin with high quality products and amenities. The location is right across from Pebble beach and walkable to many of the restaurants and pubs but far enough away to be private and quiet. I would definitely recommend this cabin. "

"Stayed for 2 nights with our 2 pugs. Cabin was exactly as described. Weather was terrible so had takeaways rather thsn outside cooking facilities. Cabin and enclosed patio are small but perfect for break and right on seafront so location is spot on. Sharon the host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again if in area. Bonus points for bathroom toiletries which were 10/10!"

"The Bay Cabin had everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The facilities were excellent. We liked that we had a nice secluded, quiet spot. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. It was an ideal base for to explore West Wight - Totland Bay and Freshwater in particular."

"On arrival we found milk in the fridge, and biscuits on the table which was a nice touch. There was emergency contact details on the fridge, and wifi details. Well appointed property, close to Shanklin Chine, beach, amusements, restaurants, chippy and crazy golf. The property was very clean, (and this is from someone who is OCD about cleanliness), and well equipped. If I was to suggest one improvement, it would be useful to have a top cupboard in the kitchen for food storage. The only downside...

"Had a truly wonderful time relaxing at this gorgeous home away from home. It was extremely clean, quiet and a great base to adventure from each day. The hosts provided lots of essentials and some lovely extras to enable us to relax at home after a day out. There’s plenty of space to relax and watch the squirrels and have a nice homemade meal with island produce. Having stayed at a similar property in previous years this definitely beat it by a far!"

"It really is a very cosy and inviting yurt, with wonderfully eclectic decor. The owner made me feel very welcome, and it was fun to sit on the boardwalk in front of the yurt and listen to curlews. It is a short walk into the village for provisions, and there is a bus stop just a few metres' walk away. The road behind the yurt is a little busy in 'rush hour', but the position makes up for it. I haven't been to the island since I was a moody adolescent. It's lovely, full of variety."

"The place had a nice calming vibe and was well situated near the docks/city centre. The breakfast was delicious but paying for it in advance, it seemed like the same rate applied to children/adults but at the hotel there was a reduced rate for children. There were a few occasions where our orders were misunderstood, but aside from this the service was excellent. The loft room was very nice and we had a nice view out to sea. The master bed was nice and soft and the loft space bed was hard...

Great place to stay to before cruise

"Hotel is under construction, which looks horrible from the outside, but most of the inside is beautiful. Restaurant food was delicious and the drinks were very good. Beds were extremely comfortable and rooms clean. Would definitely stay there again. "

A wonderful place to stay

"My daughter (8) & i often go book a hotel stay to escape, and this is by far the top of our list now. Ive dropped a star for comfort only because the twin beds are too hard for me. Many prefer a hard bed so thats personal preferences really. The pool is beautiful and very clean along with the hottub the views of the garen are stunning. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Having a little chat with my daughter when ever she wanted to chat. They seemed to have time for us."

"I appreciated the staff for many reasons. I did have to wait for my room after getting off the cruise ship early and expected that. I worked and took a nap in the lobby. One very kind young man who was working in the dining/kitchen department approached me when I woke up to ask if I was ok. He told me he had been very worried about me but when he asked his manager if he should wake me up, he told him to let me sleep. He just wanted me to know he kept an eye on me to make sure I was ok. How sweet is that?! Later that night I was chilled and my room wasn't warm enough. The front desk staff brought me a folded double duvet and a space heater and I slept soundly and warmly all night. I feel they all went above and beyond. The proximetry to the train station is a bonus. "
