"Great budget option. The property is very loud with lots of tourist staying up late and drinking and creating noise into the late hours of the night. Expect to travel to get anywhere noteworthy from this property as it is about 20-30 minutes via metro into the city core. "

"Stayed with a friend - had a courtyard junior suite. Very comfortable, but the only thing I would suggest is to put reflector strips on the edges of the stairs leading to bedroom. I missed the last step going down as the light switch was at the bottom of the stairs - not good. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again as it is close to everything and many good restaurants within walking distance. "The staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly and our room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed and pillows really comfortable. We had a front aspect with a lovely little balcony but you can hear the traffic and buses are noisy until fairly late at night. Breakfast has all you could want in terms of variety and the tiny little custard filled ‘balls’ with the sweet pastries were amazing! Rooftop bar is gorgeous, even in November but the drinks bill was the priciest we paid for our whole trip....

"The good and the bad, stayed here 11/12/24 to 11/19/24, the location is premium. The room was clean with high ceilings and a window. This was our first time in Italy, we spent a few nights in Rome and a few in Florence. The location is prime for going out and seeing all the sights. They did have a wine bottle opener in the common area which was helpful. They also have a 24/7 whatsapp for questions and help which was helpful. They offer a breakfast voucher but we always left early to start...

"This is an excellent "budget" hotel. A short (5 min or so) walk from the Roma Termini train stations, and major attraction are also within a walking distance. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, plus multiple dining options right outside of the hotel. The only con is that the doors are very thin, and since our room was right next to the concierge desk, there was constant buzzing (all guests need to ring the door to enter the building). Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you for offering this opportunity to explore Rome! "

"We chose the Best Western Plus Hotel Universo as it is walking distance from the Rome train station. We were upgraded to a larger room with sofa bed. It suited us very well. The breakfast had a lot of options and staff was very attentive with coffee orders. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant which served some Roman classics and it was good. Overall, would stay again and recommend this hotel. "
