"The hotel was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable but the blankets were paper thin. The heat in the rooms was uncontrollable, it was either blasting heat or we had to turn it off and froze. No in between. The staff was very friendly. "

"We were quite pleased when we saw our #5 room at this property. It was spacious, clean as a whistle and comfortable. The only things that were less than perfect about our stay and the only reasons for a rating of 4 instead of 5 were:1) our room was on the third floor and, even in this cold weather, the room was so “cozy” it was too warm to sleep. "The rooms were very clean but definitely on the small side. We had a King Deluxe and it was very small. Very bad experience with the pool. We were there with a group that a number of small children and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM GOT CHEMICAL BURNS FROM THE POOL (CHLORINE) but when the front desk was told about, the woman got nasty and said that it couldn't be that. The back view of Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, OH. Over 100 years ago, Jeffrey Mansion was built as the residence of industrialist and early Columbus City Mayor Robert Jeffrey. Jeffrey served as mayor from 1903-1905 and willed his home to the city of Bexley in 1941. Today the mansion and surrounding grounds are a city park. There is a ghost story attached to the mansion stating that Jeffrey hung himself in his home before granting the city rights to his property.
