Serenity on Shoal Bay Rd is perfect for a beach side get away and is suitable for a couple, 2-3 couples or a large family. This near new beach house is situated 3-4 minutes’ walk from Nelson Bay shopping precinct and d'Albora marina and popular Little Beach.
It offers open plan living areas, full size kitchen with stone bench, stainless appliances (including a dishwasher) and essential meal prep-equipment as well as some basic pantry items. The dining area seats up to 8 people and opens out onto a pleasant rear private courtyard with outdoor dining table and BBQ.
The house is fully air-conditioned and the furnishings create a beachy, yet modern feel. The home sleeps up to 8 adults (2 on a sofa lounge) with 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom suite has a king bed, private balcony and en-suite. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three contains two king single beds. A potacot is also available for use with your own linen. All beds are new and have luxurious mattresses and 1000 tread Egyptian cotton doona, sheet and towel settings. Separate towels are also ready at the back door for use at the pool.
The huge sleek ten meter by six meter pool with picnic area and seating is less than thirty meters from your door and is part of a small private local community estate. The double lock up garage may also contains kids’ fishing rods and bikes of guest to borrow.

You might like to surf, fish, or relax on the deck or by the pool. Visit the local markets, dine in local restaurants and cafés, take in an afternoon of golf, bowling, or a move. The house is also stacked with plenty of reading material, DVD’s and board games for those quiet afternoons.
Located on the southern shores of Port Stephens, Nelson Bay offers and aquatic playground. Within the sheltered areas of the bay there are safe, calm beaches that are ideal or small children. Little Beach falls into this category and is only a 3 minute walk from this beachhouse. The waterfront Little Beach Boathouse Restaurant is a must, we have been their often to dine and watched the wild dolphins as they swim around the shoreline of Little Beach at sunset.
Fly Point is an aquatic reserve which offers exceptional diving and snorkeling and is again only walking distance. The coastal beaches such as Dutchmans Beach are just a five minute drive away are awash with booming waves – ideal for surfing.
To the south of Nelson Bay, Stockton Beach has the country’s largest coastal dune system where you can 4WD, quad bike or camel ride, sand board on the dunes, windsurf, sailboard, kiteboard or just relax at the local surf lifesaving coffee shop while taking in the view.
The coastal waters around Nelson Bay form a part of the Whale super highway. Tomaree National Park summit, Boat Harbour, Anna Bay and Barry Park in Fingal Bay are great for Whale and dolphin pod watching. Mid May to Early September sees the whales moving north to their breeding grounds and from Mid-September to the middle of October the south migration kicks in with lots of Humpback mothers and their new born calves seen during October.
Shoal Beachhouse is minutes’ walk from Nelson Bay Marina and the hub of town where you will find boutique shops, cafes, superb dining restaurants and numerous other recreational activities. You have a holiday playgroup at your doorstep which is only moments from Natational Parks for scenic bush and beach walks with lookouts points, swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, cycling, walking, golfing shopping and dining. The only limit is your imagination.
