"Great spot for our arrival in Sri Lanka. We stayed one night. Comfortable bed, large room and easy walk to the Main Street to get dinner. The owner drove us to Habarana the next day for a fair price and even gave us several recommendations for our next few days and bought us local fruits. "

"The owners are a very friendly family and they were very helpful when we were planning our trip and wondering where to go! The rooms are very nice with a lovely big and modern bathroom, and the place itself is very close to the beach, and only w 20 minute drive from the airport which is perfect! The Sri Lankan breakfasts were delicious too. Great place and very good value for money!"

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast...

"Not at all welcoming, no towels in the room, broken mosquito nets over the windows and a terrible breakfast (including frozen papaya). Unfortunately this was the first day for us in Sri Lanka and since our stay we have realised how unrepresentative of the Sri Lankan hospitality this place is and how poor value. We had originally planned to stay here the night before our return journey but we cancelled our booking and went elsewhere as a result of this stay."

"Unfortunately the room let down this hotel. unclean, cracks in the walls, bathroom full of ants and mosquitoes, broken cot for the baby, unclean linen, power trips 3 x a day, bland basic food. 1hr wait for a srilankan breakfast. Staff were very helpful and kind"

"A solid, but bare bones place to stay in Negombo if you’re passing through. The room is spacious and clean, but just the basics. And the hotel is a short walk to the beach, on just on the main road, with a lot of restaurants close by. Not the place you’d want to spend a week, but if you need a no-frills place close to the airport, this does the job."

"AVOID at all costs! Hotel offers airport transfer - I messaged 3 times, not only did no one come to the airport they had no booking (despite pre paymen) 3 am, not expected, boy that didn’t speak English, more than terrible! Eventually given a filthy room, you wouldn’t put a dog in it! The door didn’t shut let alone lock! Couldn’t even buy a bottle of water, no restaurant as advertised, no breakfast. Absolutely the worst. NOT FIT FOR HUMANS "
