"The Red Lion was a lovely for me and my partner, we had an amazing stay. The staff at the pub were lovely, especially Aviva who was so friendly and helpful in the restaurant. I give four stars only because the price was a little unreasonable for the time of year (mid-November) when many local attractions are closed. "We arrived earlier than our check in time, but this wasn't a problem, we had immediate access to our room. The room was on the small side, but as we didn't have full size suitcases it didn't matter. The 5* award is for being able to sit outside on a sunny evening, with a pint just looking at the stunning view, priceless. Dinner was good but a bit 'chips with everything'. "Great pub, all the staff were really friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast (which doesn't start until 8:30am), but they were really amazing in trying to help us and they did make us a breakfast sandwich to take away which was much appreciated.The bed also was very comfortable!"
