"The room was ok. Nothing to write home about, bathroom adequate although the tiles were loose. Breakfast for which we paid on check in; well it was £10 each so not expensive but no options. No cereal although there were some boxes but no dishes or milk. No options on what we wanted. We’d booked it fo 8:30 am on a Sunday morning so not late. "Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

"This large and very well presented B&B property is ideally situated to visit nearby Hardwick Hall and is just off the motorway. In a safe, rural location, it is purpose built and has plenty of safe easy parking. Our room was spacious well appointed, albeit somewhat functional and lacking decorative touches. The walls are very thin, so our loud neighbour kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Yea and coffee provided. Plenty of space to get ready. Bed was comfortable. We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"Lovely..nice & modern apartment..well cleaned but had only 2 tiny heaters on the wall. It was a square type. Thes 1 in the living room and 1 in the the bedroom..with not alot of heat coming out..there was a waste. There was a wooden burning stove but the wood supplied didnt last long & then it was £5 for another bag..alternatively the wood could be purchased at a store in the village but it was very windy & wet to go out"

However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work.
