"Our stay at this beautiful house outside Uzes was most pleasant. Everything was pretty much as described with the only exception being the second bathroom. This was located in the spa which is outside the house. We were a bit worried with a family of seven and only one bath in the house, but it worked out fine. "We had an excellent fortnight in this beautiful house. The terrace and pool were particularly welcome as we were there during the 2022 heatwave. The house is well placed for visits to Provence, the Ardeche and Montpellier, as well as Uzes and Nimes. Note that the house does have fans in the bedrooms (despite what an earlier review says). Mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance but kept reasonably at bay with a coil on the terrace and plug ins at night. Overall I would strongly recommend this...

A great location

"Easy walkable access to historic and beautiful Uzes sites and downtown. Our host couldn't have been more helpful, making us feel welcome. Perfect for couples or families. Our only quibble is that while there are two bathrooms, only one has a toilet. Would happily stay there again "

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Uzès

"It was a wonderful stay in this exceptional hotel. The room was beautifully furnished. The service in the hotel was very courteous. The stairs to the Prestige Suite are very narrow and steep. It was no problem for us."

Great place but needs more accurate listing

"This place has plenty of room for up to six people, safe parking, a great view and many very good amenities (pool, kitchen, ping pong table, clothes washer). However, the English listing on VRBO needs to be updated and clearly outline the extra fees when on property. There is no air conditioning or clothes dryer (remove these from listing). There are extra charges for bed linens, bath towels, pool towels, using the pool, pool heating?, a cleaning fee all to be paid by cash on site. Even with the extra fees the property is a good price, but please put these in the price or clearly explain these up front. If all this was communicated beforehand (no surprises) this would have been a 5-star review."
