"My room was in a beautiful 1907 Queenslander. The room was spacious and the bedding luxurious. I was surprised to find my bathroom was down the hall but it was spotless and was only for my use. I should have checked the listing more thoroughly, but it was no real bother. Bit noisier than i would have liked being on the main road but other than that I had a lovely stay."

"The property was easy to find, communication with the owners was clear and easy to follow. Everything was clean and tastefully built into the rooms. Even though it is on a busy thoroughfare the accomodation is set back from the road, so there was no noise except for the birdlife which is one of the things one enjoys about Tamborine."

"The WOTIF booking confirmation stated "The front desk is open daily from 10:00 AM - 10 PM" so I was shocked to be berated for being late on my arrival. While I had stated I would be there at 3pm, there were a number of delays during my trip. I did not appreciate the way I was spoken to on arrival (maybe organise self check-in like every other self-managed property in the world). "I could not have been happier with this penthouse. Just like the photos (if not better). Big bedroom, comfy bed, huge bathroom with spa and massive living area. Views were amazing, really quiet and the plunge pool was a delight. The owner, Rob, was a pleasure to deal with, respected my privacy and even did a little shop before I arrived with bread, bacon, eggs, cereal, milk, juice and all the condiments you'll ever need. "Great little Gem in the mountains, with a beautiful creative flare. The gardens were magic. Really enjoyed our stay. Kids had a ball. They loved the fairy garden and the playground.
