"I've stayed here before, so I was very disappointed that I was treated so badly this time. I was put in a room where nothing worked. All of the batteries in the remote controls were dead. I had to call down to have them come up and fix things. The worst though was a shower that didn't work. They tried to act like the fault was that the city was shutting off the power at certain times during the day, but my friends in other rooms had no such problems. "The Waiting Lodge is a newer hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin. It is associated with a fantastic restaurant, a home movie theatre, and a full gym. The breakfast is delicious with many options both nationals and foreigners enjoy. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is so kind and quick to help us with anything we need. The general manager is very gracious and came and greeted us himself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing visit in Pyin Oo Lwin. "

"The hotel is very clean. Our room was spacious and clean. Windows made the space bright. Bed and pillows are softer than most Asian hotels offer.
